The juice from the Aloe Vera plant is a wonderful detox, performing a variety of medicinal purposes which include aiding with digestion, inhibiting the growth of bacteria, and treating skin conditions. Aloe Vera is a wonderful ingredient to add to your drinking water as a pick me up when feeling sluggish.

•Aloe Vera
Clean a leaf of Aloe Vera.  Cut the leaf with a knife and drain the gel out as much as you can. Put the gel in a bottle. Squeeze the juice of a lemon and add it to the bottle with water. Mix the ingredients well so that they become one. The ratio of Aloe Vera, lemon and water is up to your discretion. It is recommended a tablespoon of aloe gel and a tablespoon of lemon juice to a glass of water.

•Aloe Vera
One aloe Vera leaf, 3 or 4 fresh strawberries and a little honey (optional). Blend the leaf with the fruit until you get it as thick as you like.  Add honey to taste. Have this drink once a day.

The botanical name of Aloe Vera is Aloe barbadensis miller. It grows in Africa, Asia, Europe and America. Use it to heal cuts, burns infections, ulcers and parasites.  The jelly inside the plant has 20 minerals, 12 vitamins, 18 of 20 essential amino acids.
